School for Life, in collaboration with its Danish partners/ GV, organised a workshop that helped in mapping out opportunities and threats for SfL in the present educational context, and to explore possibilities for new strategic approaches on how to utilise opportunities and strengthen the position of SfL.

The possibilities examined included ways for branding and marketing the Organisation within its different areas of expertise, alongside extensive advocacy on funding for the Complementary Basic Education Programme. Owing to the drift in donor support on CBE, the workshop also resolved on the need for SfL to explore other components of quality education.

Participants for the workshop were drawn from the GV team, representatives from GDCA, SfL Technical Committee members as well as SfL management and senior staff.
