Coastal State Stability Mechanism Project
Background
The project seeks to improve access, quality, and inclusive education in the Yunyoo-Nasuan and Chereponi Districts by strengthening collaboration among stakeholders and addressing systemic gaps in education delivery. It focuses on identifying and supporting marginalized communities, including the Fulbe, while enhancing the capacity of District Education Directorates through the provision of essential logistics.
Goals
the project aims at building the leadership and technical capacity of Ghana Education Service staff to promote inclusive education practices. Through participatory Vision Mapping and stakeholder engagement, it will support communities and district authorities to identify, validate, and take ownership of shared education priorities, ensuring more responsive and sustainable education interventions.
Results

Identified six (6) area councils and eighteen (18) marginalized communities having critical challenges in education service delivery in Yunyoo-Nasuan District and Chereponi District.

Supported both District Education Directorates (DEDs) through the District Assemblies with educational logistics- Laptops, Printers, Desks. Chairs, Motorbikes

Increased enrollment of Fulbe students in both districts from 43 learners to 104 learners as a result of our targeted enrolment campaign

Procured Teaching and Learning Resources for marginalized community schools- 24,395 Exercise Books, 1,190 First Copy Books, 17,425 Pencils, 530 School uniforms, 30 KG Furniture among others.

Enhanced monitoring and supervision of schools through the supply of 10 motorbikes to School Improvement and Support Officers (SISOs) in the chereponi and Yunyoo-Nasuan Districts.
